Membership to Local Chapter Changing
November 10, 2010, the AANN Board of Directors unanimously approved a recommendation to integrate AANN chapters into the National Organization.
The goal: to more effectively utilize resources available to both chapters and the National Organization, while increasing membership, functionality and communication for both groups.
By January 2014, all chapter members must also be members of the American Association of Neuroscience nurses.
100% dual membership is expected by 2014.
AANN recognizes that chapters are a crucial part of the association's success and advancement. By coming together, we continue to belong, advance, and serve the profession.
When you belong to AANN in addition to your local chapter, you gain access to benefits that help you grow personally and professionally.
Here are a few benefits that you can expect as a member of the AANN, including:
-
Journal of Neuroscience Nursing, in print and online
-
Synapse E-News
-
Member prices on educational programs and products
-
CE opportunities
-
CNRN Certification exam and recertification at a special member price
